A suit is such a major staple in your wardrobe. Within the past year, I’ve watched this trend aggressively hit the runways. Now we all know that suits will never go out of style. The structure of the suits style changes as well as the colors. But a suit will always remain as classic go to. One thing that always sticks out in my head that I learned in school, is that every 10 years the style of clothes always recycle. I’ve never paid attention until I heard that. So now when every season and new trends are created by designers I’m curious to see what time period is their inspiration coming from. The suits we are seeing today, definitely give me the 90’s shoulder pad vibe I used to watch my mom wear all the time growing up, it’s just more modernized today.
The funny thing is, I used to be a suit and blazer person back in the day. At some point I just grew out that style and on to the next trend. As we all teenagers do at some point right? Now that the suits are becoming super trendy, I’m asking myself…why did I stop wearing these? Now I’m addicted and can’t get enough! I literally want suits in like every color it’s sickening lol. I just love the fact that you can mix and match the two pieces. For example, pairing the suit jacket with a pair of jeans and t-shirt. Or taking the pants and pairing that with a t-shirt or dresser shirt depending on your vibe and outing. I mean you can even be a risk taker and pair with sneakers instead of heels. Now I’ve never tried that style, because I’m such a heels girl. But I’ve seen it from the runways to Instagram and its definitely bringing back those 90’s vibes I mentioned. Maybe one day I’ll try it just to see if I can pull it off. But for now heels it is ;)You guys, I am OBSEESED with this Lilac suit. It’s just such a soft color and makes me feel like a boss! As soon as I seen it online, my eyes instantly lit up and I was like that suit is MINE! ! Until next time TFK fam….
I hope you guys enjoy todays look!
